ZWSC is a non-profit civil society organization, which serves the
workers in Pearl River delta area. It was founded at the end of 2004. In
August 2006, its original name Guangzhou Service Center for Workers was
replaced by its present name which is Zhujiang Workers Service Centre.
Its acronym is ZWSC. Jing Xiang is the agency’s director-general.
ZWSC has covered all Pearl River delta area, particularly in
Guangzhou, Dongguang, Zhongshan, Fushan, Huizhou and Zhaoqing, ect. Our
agency’ work has gained wide praise from society and is frequently
reported and introduced by media.
We believe that a strong and prosperous China must be based
on harmony and stability, and the goal of all our work is to promote the
stability and harmonious development of our society.
The task of our work is to respond to the call of president
Hu Jintao ,who has called upon to build a harmonious society, to develop
democracy and to promote institutionalizing, standardizing and
proceduralizing of democracy.
The task of our work is to publicize law, spread the sense of
government by law and guide workers to safeguard their rights by law, so
as to prevent the occurrence of non-rational and violent anti-society
events.
The task of our work is to carry out cultural and sports
activities that are beneficial to worker, so that more and more workers
will give up porn, drugs and gamble, also improving their own quality,
and make them take part in building civil community.
The task of our work is to conduct job training. Through
professional training, more and more workers will improve their labor
skills and the workforce in Guangdong region will be enhanced. By doing
so, this agency can serve Guangzhou economic development better.
We hope that the governments of Guangzhou city and Guangdong
province give more help to the development of our agency. The
development of our agency needs more guide on policies and business from
governments of Guangzhou city and Guangdong province.We firmly believe
that the future of our society is harmonious and stable.
